Our Mission at Empower Advocacy is to provide a voice to those that feel unheard

Who We Are

Empower Advocacy was born out of lived experience—the frustration, the battles, and the overwhelming journey of navigating the SEND system for our own children. As parents of children with ADHD and Autism, we have faced firsthand the barriers, lack of transparency, inconsistent information, and underfunding that make securing the right support a constant struggle.

We know how it feels to be dismissed, to fight against a system that often provides only the bare minimum, and to be left feeling unheard. We also know the power of advocacy, information, and community in breaking down these barriers.

That’s why we created Empower Advocacy to ensure that no family has to go through this alone.

Alongside our personal experiences, we bring a wealth of professional expertise in supporting young people, having worked within the UK’s largest youth charity. This background has given us invaluable insight into the challenges faced by children and families, as well as the systemic gaps in education, health, and social care.

We have supported countless families by offering:
Emotional Support – Because the journey is tough, and no one should feel isolated.
Advocacy – Giving families the confidence and backing to fight for their child’s rights.
SEND Information & Guidance – Helping parents understand what support is available and how to access it.
Assistance with Diagnosis Applications – Navigating the referral process and Right to Choose guidance.
EHCP Support & Appeals – From applications to challenging unfair decisions.
Attending Meetings – Ensuring families have a strong voice in discussions with professionals.
And much more...

At Empower Advocacy, we are here to listen, support, and fight alongside you. Every child deserves the right support to thrive, and every family deserves a voice that is heard.

You are not alone. We stand with you. 💙

"Rachel made a complicated process simple. I can't thank her enough for fighting for my child's education." Stacey M
